While working on version 0.24, we brought in a Theater & Dance student to help us polish some temporary Halloween dialogues…

And we loved the result so much that we asked them to give Rati a complete makeover.

Something you might notice in upcoming updates is that Rati's dialogue will become much more sophisticated. Our academic friend at a university in Texas (who prefers to remain anonymous) will help us rewrite all of Rati's dialogue into a more formal, academically precise, and intellectually authoritative tone.

This person pointed out that we could use ChatGPT to achieve something very similar (or even better) in one fell swoop, but we remain adamant about not including any form of AI in the game, be it visuals, coding, or dialogue. Therefore, converting Rati's 400+ lines of dialogue will require several updates, but we believe that her academic, albeit pedantic and condescending, way of expressing herself is more accurate to what we intended.

If everything goes according to plan, the next update should be ready in just a few days—keeping up with our goal of a new release every 45 days.
