The latest batch of sketches has officially been added to the gallery.

With that, we're wrapping up our preview posts, as this will most likely be our final development update before the upcoming Beta release, currently scheduled for sometime next week.

As tradition demands, it's time to reveal what you'll need to unlock the new scenes and animations waiting for you in Version 0.28.

For the first animation, you'll need to successfully complete Darkness's event, "A Dark Date." Once you've done that, simply talk to the girls at the different clubs and ask them if they'd like to dance. If everything goes well, one lucky girl may invite you to continue the party in a much more intimate and unforgettable way.

As for the second, third, and fourth animations (yes, that's right: four animations in total this time), you'll need to complete the following storylines:

• Chloe's "Jealousy Runs in the Family"
• Nicole's "The Three Amigas"
• Amy's "The Evil Within Us"

Once all three events have been completed, wait a few days and keep your ears open. Sooner or later, you'll overhear Chloe having a heated phone argument with someone... and that's where things begin to get very interesting.

As you can see, we're incredibly close to finishing this update:

Development on the next update has already begun. We're keeping the momentum going because our annual Halloween event is approaching rapidly.

The only problem? We have absolutely no idea what this year's Halloween story should be about.

So we're turning the question over to you. What kind of Halloween event would you like to see in High School Days? A haunted mansion? A mysterious masquerade party? Costumes hiding more than identities? Let us know your ideas, we're always eager to hear your suggestions.
