The wait is over! Version 0.29 has officially been released!

This update came with its own set of development challenges. Working simultaneously on the stories, artwork, and animations for two different updates turned out to be much more complicated than we originally expected.

One of the biggest challenges was having to prepare variables and systems that won't actually be used until much later. We're laying the groundwork now so that, when Version 1.0 arrives, everything will be ready and all those systems can finally come together properly.

But after all the late nights, extra work, and more than a few headaches...

We can finally say that everything turned out the way we hoped!

And now, it's time to shift our full attention toward the biggest update of the year:

Halloween is coming.

As we mentioned before, our annual Halloween update is traditionally our largest release, and this year's version has grown even beyond what we originally planned.

In fact, it became so ambitious that we had to bring three additional artists on board to help us create an entirely new environment for the game.

We're putting a lot of work into this new setting, and we really hope you're going to love what we've been preparing.

And there's another reason this update is especially important.

As we've mentioned before, this update will mark the end of the first season of High School Days.

That doesn't mean the story is ending—in fact, quite the opposite.

We'll be leaving several mysteries, unanswered questions, and a few carefully placed cliffhangers waiting for the second season, currently planned for December of this year.

But, for now, enjoy Version 0.29...
