October is almost over, and we still have several animations to finish. But we're giving it everything we've got to get Version 1.0 out the door!

Today, we want to show you a preview of what will tentatively be the image featuring the girls you'll need to interact with to complete the Halloween event.

There's an important change this year! Unlike last year's event, where you had to replay the same story multiple times and follow different routes to unlock every girl, this year's event will follow a linear storyline. That means you could miss certain scenes if you don't pay attention, and you might not get another chance to unlock them later!

We have plenty of ideas for puzzles and challenges that could really put your brain to work. However, let's not forget the main goal of High School Days: getting you fired up with some deliciously spicy scenes! So, while there will be puzzles to solve, we won't go overboard. You'll still need to use your head to figure things out, though!

The idea is to make the gameplay more engaging and challenging, adding a little extra flavor to those steamy rewards.

Now, the big question is: which girls will be part of this update? As we've mentioned before, several of our lovely waifus will be joining the fun!

We know development is running a little behind schedule, but much of our artwork is created in batches rather than one image at a time. Because of that, we expect our progress to become much more noticeable over the next few days.
